Specialist Education Services runs two dual-registered children’s homes and educational settings in South Norfolk. Our homes, based in Heckingham and Kirby Cane, can each accommodate up to 8 children, all with social, emotional and mental health complexities.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for working with children to help keep the house clean from Monday to Friday. You will be required to work at both sites across the week and will work alongside two other cleaning staff. An awareness of the requirements of working in a residential care setting would be advantageous.
The person we are looking for will have a warm, caring personality and should be sensitive to the needs of our young people. You should have an even temperament with strength of character and resilience. You will need to take a sense of pride in your work, with high standards and an attention to detail.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointments are dependent on a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.
We are an equal opportunity employer with diversity and inclusion at the centre of everything we do.
