Salary £27,514 to £30,095 (depending on experience) plus sleeping in payment as per rota
We are looking for a Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Turnstone House (near Beccles) on a full time permanent basis. We run two homes, which are both dual registered children’s homes and educational settings and can each accommodate up to 8 children, all with social, emotional and mental health complexities.
The Deputy Care Manager is an important management role, leading the team of staff on duty in the home and holding case co-ordinating responsibility. The person appointed to this role will play a pivotal part in consolidating and developing care practice within Specialist Education Services.
The successful candidate will be one of our team of 4 Deputy Care Managers supporting the Registered Manager and Head of Care. Our Deputy Care Managers lead shift teams, hold casework co-ordination roles for key children, support individual team members’ professional development and deputise for the Registered Manager whilst acting as duty senior.

Applicants must have a Level 3 Diploma (Residential Childcare or equivalent) and experience of leading in a residential setting, they must also have worked with children with social, emotional and mental health complexities. We will train all our Deputy Care Manager team to Diploma Level 5.
