SES has 15 years of outstanding practice in caring for and educating looked after children with complex social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We are excited to announce that we are starting a new venture designed to serve vulnerable care leavers who, post 18, require and will benefit from a highly personalised, community based, residential provision.
This venture to provide a very much needed service within the adult services sector will be delivered by SES under the newly incorporated SES Kite Ltd. This starts with the opening of Tower Hill, a three bedroom house based in Beccles, which will provide care and ongoing development and learning for two vulnerable young adults. Tower Hill will open and be operational in September 2020.
The Young Adult Residential Support Manager will lead the home’s operation by example and provide inspiration and motivation for others in order to create a shared culture and positive climate.
The successful candidate will supervise and guide a team of four Young Adult Residential Support Workers and will be responsible for all aspects of care provision including the care, health and further educational development of the young adults residing at Tower Hill.
Applicants must have a Level 3 Diploma (in care or equivalent). We welcome candidates with ambition as well as experience. In addition candidates must have experience of working with children or young adults with social, emotional and mental health complexities, and leading in a residential setting.
This is a great opportunity for someone within a social work, health or educational environment who wishes to extend their experience, or for those who aspire to the management role as the next stage in their development.
