Everyone at Turnstone House enjoyed a fantastic buffet lunch as part of the 18th birthday celebrations for one of our young people in June.
The team around him had decorated the house, mainly using yellow and green to represent the colours of his beloved football team, Norwich City. There were presents to open, including those from the other young people living at Turnstone House.
He was subjected to two rounds of Happy Birthday, one when entering the room for the first time and the other when a delicious cake was brought out, topped with candles and chocolates. This type of event is often overwhelming, but he handled it superbly and was happy to unwrap presents with a big audience cheering him on.
As part of the festivities, he had chosen to spend the previous day at the Pleasure Beach in Great Yarmouth, and the birthday celebrations continued with an evening meal in Norwich with selected adults.
